Glamorgan got their 2026 County Championship return to Division One underway last week with a draw against Yorkshire, taking twelve points from the match and plenty of positives to be encouraged about for the rest of the season.
They hit the road for the first time this season in round two to play defending champions Nottinghamshire at Trent Bridge. The two sides last met in a Division Two game at Sophia Gardens in July 2022 in a high scoring draw where Glamorgan put up over 700 runs in the match.
Off the back of a positive start to the season, Glamorgan might be feeling quietly confident they can go to the midlands and get another positive result. There were plenty of standout performances for Glamorgan in the opening round, none other than Mason Crane, who took 8 wickets in the match and scored a half-century.
