Three More Glamorgan Title Winners Signed for Tier One

Glamorgan Women have added three more current players to their squad list for 2027.
Gemma Porter, Daisy Jeanes and Megan McColl have all been awarded contracts to play in tier one as Glamorgan move to professional next season.
The trio join Lauren Parfitt and Bethan Gammon as those from the 2026 squad given the opportunity to play at England and Wales’ top domestic level. Bethan Ellis and Abbey Freeborn have both spent the majority of the season on loan and have subsequently also signed, along with internationals Georgia Davis, also from Warwickshire, and Seren Smale, from Lancashire.
Porter, 23, was given a tier one contract by Warwickshire in 2025 but spent the entire season on loan in south Wales before being added to Glamorgan’s squad list in 2026. The off-spinner has been a starring player since joining with 35 wickets in the One Day Cup League Two to go with 31 wickets in tier two’s T20 Blast over her two seasons with the club.
