Glamorgan have confirmed that they will not consider charging live stream viewers in response to the controversy caused the announcement of LancsTV+.

A report by The I asked CEO’s of all 17 other counties if they would consider following Lancashire in their decision to have a pay wall on their men’s fixtures.

Lancashire’s launch of LancsTV+ will offer fans a chance to watch all men’s live stream matches for £20 per season, although it would be free for members. Last week, Taff & Daff considered if other counties might follow suit. The overwhelming response was that they would not.

While all county chiefs that did comment (10) said no, there were comments told to The I that they view the streams for County Championship matches as an important part of their commercialisation and wish they could be rewarded more with revenue for the quality they feel their streams operate at.
