Kiran Carlson has signed a new two-year contract extension keeping him at Glamorgan until the end of 2028.

The club captain put pen to paper on a deal that will take him into his twelfth season at his boyhood county.

Carlson made his Glamorgan debut in 2016 and in the same year became the youngest Glamorgan player to make a first-class century and took a five-wicket haul on debut. Carlson has led the limited overs side for four years before being named as Sam Northeast’s successor in red ball cricket ahead of this season. In that time, he has led the Welsh county to two One Day Cup trophies in 2021 and 2024.
